How We Handle Your Statement Data
When you upload a merchant processing statement to SaveOnSwipes, here's exactly what happens to it.
What we receive
- The PDF you uploaded
- The metadata in the file (filename, file size, upload time)
What we do NOT receive (please don't include these)
- Cardholder data (card numbers, CVV codes, full expiration dates)
- Banking credentials
- Government-issued ID numbers
If your statement contains any of the above, we recommend redacting those fields before uploading.
Where it is stored
- The file is uploaded over HTTPS to our secure storage system
- Access is restricted to the SaveOnSwipes team members who produce your audit and our specifically-named service providers (file storage, audit-tooling)
How long we keep it
- The PDF is retained for up to 90 days after we deliver your audit, then permanently deleted
- The audit report we produce is retained for our records for 36 months
If you become a SaveOnSwipes customer, the statement may be retained longer as part of your account file.
Who sees it
Only:
- The SaveOnSwipes audit team
- Our file-storage and tool providers (under written confidentiality)
- AspenPeak LLC, as the operating entity
We do NOT share your statement with:
- The processor we recommend (until and unless you choose to onboard)
- Marketing partners
- Data brokers
- Any other third party
Your rights
You can request deletion of your statement and all associated records at any time by emailing info@saveonswipes.com. We will delete within 30 days of confirming your request.
